It is reported that the venue for this CDC station—Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit—is a brand-new FIA Grade 2 circuit, the only international Grade 2 circuit in Chengdu (currently one of six nationwide). The circuit was developed and constructed by Chengdu Mintai Motorsport Sports Development Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Geely Mintai Technology Group Co., Ltd. It was planned and designed according to FIA Grade 1 circuit standards and is a designated track for international events such as the FIA F4 Chinese Championship, China Drift Championship, China Super Sports Car Championship, and China Touring Car Championship.
Regarding the drivers, this CDC station featured the most extensive lineup for a national-level drift race round since 2019. The roster was truly stellar, including many formidable competitors such as China's first-generation drift drivers, world record holders in drifting, and internationally experienced returnees. There were also numerous young talents and rising stars in drifting. Experts, enthusiasts, and professional teams from all over gathered in Chengdu, presenting thrilling drift showdowns for fans and on-site spectators, further boosting the momentum of motorsports in the Sichuan-Chongqing region.
